As a certified mediator and guardian ad litem, Samuel M. Sanchez has a clear insight into the long-term effects a parent’s decision will have on their family, especially children.

“So when you represent the parent, you can tell them the consequences from this type of position or stance or from this order and how it will impact the children long-term,” Mr. Sanchez said. “That way, I am better able to advise as to the long-term repercussions of taking certain stances or positions.”
He said his conflict resolution skills and learning to be a very adept and active listener to what people are really trying to tell him, helps him be successful in his role as a family law attorney.

Mr. Sanchez is Board Certified and licensed to practice in Florida and Texas.
Education & Experience
Mr. Sanchez received his Bachelor of Arts from Texas Tech University, and his Juris Doctor from Wesleyan Law School in Fort Worth, Texas.
Prior to joining Cordell & Cordell, Mr. Sanchez worked in Civil, Criminal, Estate Planning, and Juvenile Law. He has an extensive background in high profile, press intensive litigation.
Mr. Sanchez is a certified mediator and was appointed by former Gov. Perry to the Board of Regents for Midwestern University.

On a Personal Note
Mr. Sanchez is an avid martial artist and holds a 2nd degree in Kenpo Karate. He is a passionate football fan for both the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Tech Red Raiders. He has two beautiful children of whom he is extremely proud. His son recently graduated from the University of Texas with honors and is an avid local musician and published writer. His daughter is a student at the University of North Texas and a dancer for the Dallas Cowboys Rythm and Blues performance team. He enjoys riding his custom Harley Davidson Fat Bob and spending time with his family on the water. He is an avid diver, surfer and adventurer of life on the water.
